So I found out that my pitching career isn't going to take off any time soon, especially in slow pitch softball. I had a game on Friday, the first of the new season. I hadn't made it to any practices, so it was cold turkey. They needed a pitcher, so they put me in there. Le sigh. I actually did well until the 5th inning or so when I got ripped. Jen and Emily came in town just in time for the beating. At least I proved my manhood with a homerun and a .1000 batting average for the season so far.
The highlights of this weekend: hanging with my Jen & friends, guitar hero, Daniel Johnston's "Hi, How are You" painting, smelly vintage clothing shops, Amy's Ice Cream, making creepy yet silly faces for the camera, snuggling, Mario Brothers, unintentionally pocket dialing, and no studying. : )
